Product Catalogue
The product catalogue is the commercial view of what you sell - organised so both your team and trade customers can find, present, and order products consistently.
Your team maintains the catalogue in the admin console. Trade customers browse it in the customer portal. The guest storefront can present a public view of the same catalogue.
What this capability covers
- Product records with codes, names, status, and selling attributes
- Grouping and navigation, including merchandise groups alongside hierarchical categories where useful
- Quantity rules such as minimum order quantities and pack multiples
- Media such as images and supporting documents
- Catalogue behaviour that respects contract pricing and restricted products
Catalogue content can be maintained in dCommerce and, when ERP integration is enabled, kept aligned with master data from your system of record. You do not need an ERP to run a catalogue.
Why it matters
A reliable catalogue is the foundation of the customer portal. When products, images, and purchasing rules are consistent across the admin console, customer portal, and other channels, buyers place better orders and your team spends less time correcting incomplete lines.
