Contract Pricing
Many wholesale businesses sell from a default price book and then overlay account-specific agreements. dCommerce supports contract pricing so negotiated rates apply consistently wherever that organisation orders.
Trade customers see those prices in the customer portal. Your team administers the agreements in the admin console.
What this capability covers
- Default catalogue pricing where a standard price book is enough
- Contract pricing for named organisations
- Price resolution that prefers the right agreement for the ordering organisation
- Flexible price visibility - including catalogues where public pricing is limited or quote-oriented
A buyer on the customer portal should see prices that match their commercial relationship. The guest storefront can hide list prices when you do not want a public price book.
Why it matters
Re-keying contract prices into emails, spreadsheets, or ERP customisations is slow and error-prone. When pricing lives with the organisation in dCommerce, orders are more likely to be correct before they reach fulfilment or invoicing.
ERP integration is optional. Some merchants keep invoicing in the ERP and still use dCommerce for the prices buyers see when they order. Others run contract pricing entirely in the admin console.
